Proposals is a bespoke service, this means that no two
weddings are the same. The dream is different in everybody’s mind.

We got married in July 2010 and using Richard made what could have been a very stressful time very easy for the both of us. From the first time we met Richard he came across very professionally and you tell he knew his business inside out.
He arranged everything from the wedding service at St Paul’s chapel, the boat trip out to sea and the evening reception at Nefeli’s with the Greek dancers, of which Richard joined in with at one stage!!
The guests that came out to Rhodes, sixty plus, all said what a fantastic day they had and it was the best wedding they had ever been to
On a personal note you made our wedding day into something that we can treasure and never forget and we cannot thank you enough for that

We would like to say a huge thank you for making our wedding day and wedding experience just what we had hoped for and more, you were easy to contact, easy to talk to and gave us so much insight into beautiful Lindos. From start to finish we couldn't have asked for more. Your initial presentation and options were so tailored for all our wedding needs we never looked back. We had an amazing day that was effortless for Rachel and I and enjoyable in every aspect.
Our Family and guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. From the chapel to our boat trip to our reception venue. We had never expected to find a wedding planner that was on hand 24/7 and was so confident in providing us with the best! Our total wedding experience is down to Proposals and Mr Morrow!

Our wedding day was just perfect! The most important thing to us was to transfer the relaxed feel of Greece to our day and to ensure that all our family and friends were relaxed and stress free.
We chose Lindos in Rhodes as this is a special place for us. Its natural beauty is apparent at all times throughout the day and the hustle and charm of the village set the background and atmosphere for our ideal wedding. Richard supported our ideas and ensured that all our wants and needs were catered for both in the UK and in Greece, he organised our favourite restaurant and suggested new ideas and places to consider with all costs and menus upfront to choose from. Our wedding day flowed naturally, just like our holiday. We had one week to relax prior to our wedding and one week after to enjoy the rest of our holiday. Our family and friends were there throughout and the wedding seemed to last for the whole two weeks. Richard was on hand at any time to reassure us with questions and final touches, like choosing the cake!
We got married at 6.00pm just as the sun was setting, perfect for our photos. After the ceremony, we made our way through the village (with claps and cheers from the locals) to our favourite roof top restaurant, with spectacular views of the bay. After a fabluous meal, with speeches and cake cutting etc.. we made our way to a friendly bar with a small dance floor where we danced the evening away, until the day came to a natural close.
We have happy memories of our special holiday and so do our family and friends! we have since been guests at another wedding organised by Richard for our friends and their day was as lovely as ours, with its own sparkles including a boat trip!
I fully recommend a wedding in Greece - if you are looking for a stress free day with beautiful surroundings and friendly people. I could not think of a better person than Richard to arrange this for you.

I first contacted Richard after seeing photos of the wedding he organised for our friends. The scenery was beautiful and
everyone looked happy, natural and relaxed which is exactly what we wanted our wedding day to be.
Our initial meeting with Richard left us with a lot of food for thought after discussing all of our ideas and Richards
suggestions. At this point I became a true ‘bride to be’ and will confess to not being the easiest, to say the least!
Richard succeeded in meeting all of my requests and keeping within the budget that I had to work with. We also stayed in
Kiotari, 25 minutes outside of Lindos where Richard frequently visited, collected and returned us to and did not complain
once about the inconvenience!
Through all of Richards hard work our wedding day was perfect. A minibus collected our guests and a wedding car was
provided for me from the hotel. We arrived at the chapel, the weather was lovely , the scenery was so vibrant and the
day had the most romantic feel to it. The ceremony was brief and eloquent. The registrar was friendly Dave and I were
particularly touched that he personalised the service to include our daughter. Following the ceremony we had much fun with
Vlassis, our photographer who took some great shots of us, we were really pleased with his final portfolio and he supplied
us with a beautiful wedding album, the photos and layout were outstanding.
We then took a glass bottom boat ride around the bay and were met with clapping observers when we arrived at the short beach
and again in Lindos town as we made our way to our Reception venue, Kalypso.
We were welcomed at Kalypso by the owners Euripides and Kiki who immediately made us feel at home with their friendliness
and warmth. They had decorated the tables beautifully and the favours that Richard had shopped with us for gave a real
traditional Greek feel. We even ate an hour later than scheduled which was ‘no problem’, even though it was a busy Friday
evening.
Richard recommended this restaurant to us as did our friends and I can honestly say it is the best restaurant I have ever
eaten in and Euripides and Kiki are the perfect hosts. The evening ended with the bar next door playing Luther Vandross so
that we could have our first dance in the middle of the street! After which the minibus and wedding car returned to pick us
all up and return us all safely to the hotel.
Richard looked after us in a way that was far beyond what he had to. He took all of the stress of organising a wedding away,
we trusted him 100% and he greatly exceeded our expectations. Both my and Daves deepest thanks go to Richard and PROPOSALS
for making our special day the wedding of our dreams.

Darren and i whole heartedly thank Richard for all his efforts to make our wedding day so fantastic. His confident and friendly manner along with impeccable organisation and a wealth of knowledge made our special day the most memorable of our lives.
I first contacted Richard with a dream of getting married in Greece. Although, it may sound clichéd, I had watched Mamma Mia and had it in my mind that that was what I wanted my day to be like!
I wanted to get married abroad, however, I didn’t want a package wedding holiday. I wanted something bespoke and tailored to my personality. After an initial meeting with Richard he left having a strong idea of what I liked and what my dream was.
Richard suggested locations for the ceremony and for the celebration afterwards. He also had extreme patience after I changed my mind several times!
Richard also suggested hotels and accommodation for us that catered for our needs as we have two small children.
You have to put a lot of faith into the person who is planning one of the most important days of your life, particularly as i had never visited Lindos before. I had trust in Richard one hundred per cent.
I must say that our expectations were exceeded. On arrival in Lindos we checked into our hotel, the Lindos Mare, which was fantastic, I could not fault it. From then on in we met with Richard who had organised everything perfectly. He had taken all of the pressure off me so that i could relax and enjoy my holiday. Richard also arranged for pre wedding meals and entertainment for our large wedding party. His attention to detail was exceptional.
Our wedding was phenomenal and as quoted by myself and my guests ‘magical’. The ceremony at Pauls was beautiful, followed by a drinks reception at the beach bar. We then walked through the village, accompanied by musicians and i had tears in my eyes as the passer’s by clapped and cheered. Our final meal and reception was on a roof top at Med East Restaurant. Manolis, the owner and his team were fantastic. The food was exceptional and everything was perfect. I would not have changed a thing about the whole day.
There would be no way that i would have been able to organise such a perfect day without Richard. It was fantastic.

Hi Richard,
Thanks again for organising our wedding in Rhodes at St Georges Chapel. After the slight hic-up
with the boat not being available and the building work being done by St Pauls’ Chapel, you
managed to sort out a change of location for us and made sure we had wedding cars and taxis for
our guests, within just a couple of days. All of this was done with the minimum of fuss and
absolutely no stress for Mark and I.
When we were not sure about our reception venue we found exactly what you had suggested was what
we wanted, and going to the different venues with you when we got out there made everything so
easy for us to do.
The flowers that I ordered were to an excellent standard and what can we say about the wedding
photos...they were fantastic. The photographer was great and it was all great value for money.
Both venues we chose, 1for a Pimms reception after the ceremony and the 2nd for our reception,
would never have been found without Richards and PROPOSAL’S help.
We will always have great memories of our wedding in Lindos.

Firstly, Elaine and I would like to thank Richard for all his efforts during our stay, from
arriving in Rhodes to leaving the island 14 days later. On meeting Richard, he gave us a mobile
phone to contact him at any time, and escorted us to our apartments where he had left us a couple
of shopping bags of essentials to get us through the first night. The following days leading up
to the wedding, Richard drove us around to finalise flowers, food, the cake etc. The fact that
Richard speaks fluent Greek is a massive help as i will come to later. On the surface the wedding
ceremony and reception could not have gone more smoothly, but underneath all that was Richard
coping with a potentially disastrous admin error by the local authorities. This is where he came
into his own, using his local knowledge and his grasp of the language to ensure everything stayed
on track.
The ceremony outside the shrine in St.Pauls bay was everything we imagined, hiring a boat to hop
around the bay to Skala restaurant for the reception was a master stroke that everyone will remember!
The meal was outstanding and the surprise Richard arranged at the end of the evening took everyone
by surprise. Forget Greek dancing/plate smashing, this was awesome!
I must mention the wedding photographer Vlassis, his work was fantastic and the album we received
three days later was truly exceptional.
All in all, a memorable wedding for us, the children, family and friends as well as a great holiday
in one of the most beautiful destinations in Europe.
Richard also helped out with problems which were not in his remit, such as my mother being stranded
without a transfer at Rhodes airport (no fault of Richards). He just stepped in and offered to pick
her up in his car, disaster averted.
Finally, one incident took place a couple of days after our wedding that convinced us we were right
to use Proposals as our wedding planner. We were having lunch in a beach restaurant when a young
lady and a rep from a well known travel company arrived to speak to the restaurant owner, it
transpired through us listening in, they had come to discuss the lady's forthcoming wedding reception
arrangements. The rep introduced the owner to the young lady and promptly walked off to the beach with
a towel under her arm leaving them alone, confusion reigned as the owner spoke little English and it
just seemed a complete opposite to our experience with Richard who liaised perfectly with every
component of our wedding.
Forget the so called big names, we only heard stories of disappointment. Its a very personal service
that you will get which he DOES take personally and that is to his credit.

Tracey and I would like to thank Richard for
his superb efforts on our behalf in organising our wedding
in Lindos in September 2007.
We decided early on in the planning stages that we wanted
a certain look from our venue, and that it had to be close, but not too
close to the U.K. After some preliminary research, Proposals seemed to
tick all of the boxes, and making contact with Richard was both easy and
reassuring. His knowledge and depth of experience of Greece and Lindos
in particular made my wife and I confident that we were in safe hands.
And further research of Lindos showed that it was a beautiful setting
for our most important of days.
After two meetings and numerous emails, phone calls and
gathering of official documentation, our trip was arranged and my future
wife and I flew out to Rhodes. We chose, on advice from Richard, to have
a week in Rhodes before our guests arrived, which I would wholeheartedly
recommend to others, as it allowed us to relax and more importantly, fine-tune
the details for the wedding. Richard was easily available throughout this
period, and nothing was too much trouble for him in terms of arranging
minor details. It must also be said that he rearranged the wedding from
the Saturday to the Friday with only two weeks notice, due to an unforeseen
circumstance on my behalf, which meant that I had to fly home on the Sunday
after the wedding at 7am. A huge effort, which is greatly appreciated.
It is difficult for me to express what a magical day my
wedding day was. Suffice it to say that logistically the operation worked
like clockwork, my wife looked like a vision and Lindos with its deep
blue sky, white walls and gin clear sea provided the perfect backdrop.
Highlights include my wife arriving at the ceremony on a Donkey (optional!),
the boat trip in the afternoon and the Pimms reception on the rooftop
of the Skala in Lindos bay as the sun set. Every detail exceeded my expectation
(which was high), and our guests had almost as good a time as we did!
So once again, thank you Richard from Tracey and I. You
will always be a valued friend, and I look forward to meeting again in
Lindos, the home of so many wonderful memories.

Just a few lines to say THANK YOU for organising our wedding in Lindos. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!
First of all you took all the pressure off of us (I was especially grateful for this) the calm we felt was unbelievable. The best feeling, which you instilled in us both from the beginning, was all we had to do is turn up, and so we were enabled to enjoy our wedding day thoroughly.
Your knowledge of the local area was especially helpful to us when choosing our venue for the reception. We chose the place that you suggested and it turned out to be just the right size, we told you how many people we expected as guests and you sourced the available restaurants and we chose which one from detailed descriptions and menus.
The décor was commented on by everyone and of course the food. We chose the menu and with your help we were able to add to or take away from it as we wanted, you showed great initiative and flexibility by helping us communicate to the restaurant owner exactly what we wanted. Also you provided a great nights’ entertainment from the comprehensive list of performers on your books and all of this was handled in a professional and personal way.
We would like to add at this point that for anyone who has doubts about independent wedding planners abroad, if they are from this company (PROPOSALS) they will be with you all the way from day 1, as you were with us Richard, and it will be a very secure and thankful feeling.
How great was it when you brought the Wedding Album to us completed and finished in a well bound album by the fantastic photographer that you have on your books, (we have since learnt that no-one else has this guy on their books he is great).
We could not have asked for a better wedding day Richard,
you made it all happen for us.
Thanks again for everything – Flights and Accommodation for us and our guests,
