I
would like to start off this letter by sincerely thanking
Richard for all his hard work and dedication, which in
turn gave me and my husband the wedding that we dreamed
of.
My husband and I wanted to get married abroad as we didn't’t
feel that we wanted a traditional big white wedding. We wanted something
just as beautiful and one that would be just as fulfilling
for our
guests also. We did a little bit of research on the Internet
of possible places to get married. Straight away St Paul’s bay,
Lindos came up and we fell in love instantly with the gorgeous white
Chapel and the beautiful bay surrounding it.
After the decision was made to get married there, we searched
for a suitable wedding company.
PROPOSALS was among the companies that we discovered. We
submitted our details and a very enthusiastic Greek speaking
coordinator from said company contacted us almost immediately.
We chose to go with POPOSALS straight away and never looked
back.
We kept in close contact with Richard by e-mail and telephone.
Within about a month we had finalized
everything and we had nothing more to do. Richard and his team had taken care
of the whole plan.
Arriving at our hotel (KiotariBay4 miles south of Lindos) we found that Richard
had left a welcome pack in our room and left a note saying that he would be in
contact in the next couple of days.
True to his word he rang the following day to arrange for us to go to a flower
shop and choose the flowers, the gents’ buttonholes and our table decorations.
Richard assured us that he would have the flowers and the buttonholes at the
hotel the morning of the wedding and that the table decorations would be at Lindian
house for the evening reception. Richard kept in touch every couple of days to
make sure we were okay.
On our wedding day Richard arranged for a boat to collect all the guests, apart
from me, my dad and the bridesmaids. We travelledby car to the chapel.
When the ceremony was over we all went on a boat ride for four hours where we
did the speeches and had a finger buffet with champagne. The boat anchored in
various bays so guests could dive off and swim all afternoon. It was a wonderful
way to spend the day before the night’s celebrations.
The day ended with a beautiful meal at Lindian House Bar on the roof terrace.
This is the place we had chosen to have our reception and is where we cut the
cake and opened the presents which we had taken over with us. We had seen the
menus and photos of the place during the consultations we had with Richard throughout
the winter in the UK so we were looking forward so much to having our celebrations
there. Richard joined us for a good night of drinking and dancing. We weren’t
up until early hours because my husband wanted to take me away for a short honeymoon.
He had told Richard this from the beginning and Richard had arranged for us to
spend the next day and night in Symi (a small beautiful island just off Rhodes).
He arranged the taxis, our ferry crossing, and our accommodation which was the
Pedi Beach hotel, a 3*hotel on the beach.
This finished our wedding off perfectly and we couldn’t have wished for
a better wedding package.

Just
a few lines to thank you for all your hard work & commitment
in organising
our wedding in Lindos in Sept 2006.
Having set you the task of not only organising our wedding but also our son's
on the same day, and flights & accommodation for family & friends totaling
34 individuals, plus all the little extras that made our day & indeed the
two weeks very special, it must be said that you shone through ! Everything went
to plan, your timing, organisation, in conjunction with a friendly manner were
exceptional, from the smallest buttonhole through to the superb meal, entertainment
you organised, boat trips, photography & video, absolutely all aspects of
our time in Lindos were most enjoyable & stress free, & i have no hesitation
in recommending your services to anyone who may be considering getting married
in Lindos & I enclose photo's of our day for you to use if you so wish in
promoting your services.

would like to write a letter of commendation with regards
to how wonderful our wedding was organised, handled and
delivered.
My partner and I were looking for a company who could arrange our wedding in
Lindos, we met there back in 2000.
We searched the Internet and stumbled
upon numerous companies, which specialised in organising
weddings in Lindos.
We Emailed 3 or 4 and if I’m to be honest and only 2 got back to us within a
week. We gave them both an outline of what we wanted for our perfect day and
then waited
for a reply.
One company didn’t get back to us and I had to chase them.
The other company,
called Proposals, got back to me within 48 hours and seemed genuinely interested
and keen to help. After a few consultations via Email with Richard we agreed
to go and meet him to look at a few presentations, flowers and past weddings
that he’d organised etc. It came to pass that we chose Proposals because of the
enthusiasm and what seemed to us a genuine interest in what we wanted. After
what seemed the longest winter ever and lots of communication with Proposals
co-ordination staff, the time had finally arrived for us and our party to go
to Lindos for our wedding.
Without
going into too much detail the whole experience was perfect, we couldn’t
have planned it better if we’d tried.
We had a wonderful service at the lovely chapel of St.Paul in a picturesque secluded
bay. From there we went on a lovely 4 hour boat cruise with 30 plus guests, enjoying
a finger buffet and Champagne while cutting our cake and doing our speeches as
well as stopping at the bay where the Guns of Navarone was filmed for a swim
and a chill. At the end of the boat trip Richard surprised us yet again by even
getting some water sports laid on which we thoroughly enjoyed. After this we
headed back to the Nefeli, a lovely beach restaurant with superb views of the
main bay at Lindos, it was stunning! The food was fabulous, the service was first
class and the traditional Greek dancers were excellent,Then yet another surprise
from Richard when we discovered there was an artist (characateur) there, who
obliged by doing numerous portraits of most of our guests.
Throughout
the week leading up to the wedding Richard was always on hand should we have
needed anything. The only thing we were a little disappointed about was
that he was unable to make our boat trip, due to his commitment to making sure
the restaurant was set up how we wanted it with our table decorations and favours
and all the last minute detail that was in the end the difference between a good
day and a fantastic day. If you are considering getting married in Lindos we
would highly recommend that you give this guy and his company Proposals the chance
to make your special day just PERFECT! We have included a few
photos for you to look at, to see how perfect the day was and how happy we were
with how everything turned out. Again if you want a

Wayne and Liz from Downham contacted us in October ’04. They wanted a plan that would go hand
in hand with their idea of going to Greece to get married.
They had their own flights and accommodation and needed our
assistance to take care of the logistics and ceremony of
