Des
and Lorraine form Bournemouth were to be married in Rhodes
Town in September ’04 they had waited too long before they booked
with us and there was no availability in Lindos for their
ceremony at St.Pauls Bay. They needed our assistance to
arrange all the ground logistics
. They
had over 20 guests and needed help to move these guests
from one end of the island to the other. Also Lorraine
was insistent that they
had their reception in Lindos and in her favourite restaurant.
We went to work immediately and arrange the following:-
Her basic Wedding package with the Proposals ancillary
package added.
A coach to Rhodes Town and back.
Accommodation in Lindos (3-4* Hotel for the bride and groom
and 15 guests)
Their Reception
Two nights stay in 5*hotel / ‘Honeymoon Break’
The total for this package we orchestrated for Des and
Lorraine was £2800

Keith and Lynne from Leicester were married in September ’03.
They were staying just outside Lindos they needed to be transported to
the Chapel at St.Pauls along with their 22 guests and wanted a reception
to remember. This is how it unfolded: -
First we gave them the Proposals standard package accompanied
by the ancillary option also.
Around this we had to orchestrate the plan that was going
to make Keith and Lynne’s day an unforgettable one. We hired a boat
to pick up the wedding party from a bay outside of Lindos, we needed a
car to pick up the bride and take her to the Chapel also.
While the ceremony was going on, the finger buffet and
Champagne was delivered to the boat that was waiting docked right next
to the Chapel.
After the ceremony the whole wedding party was taken on
a 2 hour cruise to the bay that was used as the location for the ‘Guns
of Navarone’ everyone had a swim the cake was cut and the speeches
made, then back to the shore for the reception in the wonderful‘ ‘Agostinos’ Restaurant’ with
an unrivalled view of the village from the South and a great 3 course
menu inclusive of the wine all night. Total cost for this wedding £2900

Peter and Lesley from Wales contacted
us in April ’04. After a consultation with us we formulated a wonderful
plan for them with their thoughts and our ideas. They were to be married
in Lindos with a guest list numbering 35 people. We were asked to provide
the basic requirements and come up with additional ideas to entertain
the wedding party as well, at the same time adhering to the budget we
were submitted. It unfolded like this: -

A boat was hired to take the wedding party from the ceremony
on an hour and a half cruise incorporating a cake cutting ceremony, finger
buffet and Champagne and speeches. It stopped in a bay and anchored and
everybody was allowed to swim if they wished. Their Reception was in one
of the restaurants we have associated to us. It is on the beach and comfortably
accommodated the 35 people in the wedding party.
Lesley and Peter wanted something different to go with
the meal they had ordered so we hired a live band and some Traditional
Greek dancers to entertain.
They also wanted a honeymoon break, so we booked them a
two day stay in one of our associated 4*hotels the Lindos
Mare half board. The Total for all of this was £5500
Our Commitment to you
As a show of goodwill to you PROPOSALS offers a free viewing
trip to Lindos. A trip to Lindos to see the dream setting and its’ services
and facilities. We will take you to see your florist, we will eat at the restaurant
venue you have chosen and you can look at the villa we choose for you for yourselves,
in fact we can arrange the whole plan again actually in Lindos. All you have
to do is pay your deposit, which is redeemable against the final cost of your
plan, and we will pay for your accommodation for the week that we spend out there.
